But I am very happy.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our mini US tour over the last few weeks. It was great to see all of you and as Ive said before, this is only the beginning of the touring for New Again. We also wanted to say thank you for all of your comments on 'Carpathia'. We have been so anxious for you to hear our new music and we're psyched you liked the first taste. We're always going to be moving forward with our music and to have all of you making the journey with us is really special.

Aw shucks

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for wishing me a happy birthday. You are all very thoughtful and it made my day even better. It was a big day not only because I achieved another year of existence but I got to hear the first, final, mastered copy of NEW AGAIN. Best self made present ever.

we cannot wait for you to hear it

TEXAS

...is awesome. We will definitely be back many times in 09. You guys blew our minds with your energy and we had some of the most fun shows we've ever had. For us, this has been a great way to start the pre-touring touring for New Again and we thank you.
Now its on to Arizona and beyond. The frisbee count is out of control so keep em coming. We're going to have some kind of frisbee project at the end of tour or maybe just the biggest game of frisbee ever. Like, The frisbee suber bowl or something. Im not sure, its still in the conceptual phase.

ATTENTION!!

Ok.
So.
Just to be clear THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF TOURING FOR NEW AGAIN!!!! I see that on the myspace and everywhere else people are bummed that we aren't coming to your city on this tour. We haven't forgotten about you (to be honest we cant stop thinking about you) so take a deep breath and relax - we're coming...

T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-TOUR!!!!!!!

THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT um...LATE AT NIGHT. DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!! Matt Fazzi steps foot on his first tourbus for his first TBS tour. he forgot to bring the frisbee however which is totally uncool. If anyone out there is alive and reading this, we would love a frisbee. We are about to eat, rehearse, and we are also listening to the mixes of the NEW AGAIN songs and they sound frickin great.

when you hear it-

youre gonna lose it.

LOS ANGELES!!!

I want to thank everyone who joined us at CLUB NOKIA last week for making it our best LA show ever!!! It was so good to see so many familiar faces and so many new ones too. You were the first west coasters to hear the new jams live and thank you for the crazy reaction. We cant wait to drop the rest of the album on you.
Not literally.
Although it wouldn't hurt.
But it is heavy.
Again, not literally.
Man this is tiring.

I am back in NYC right now and its about 29 degrees.
Not cool.
Actually...very cool, freezing actually.

Barack Obama is elected the 44th President

Yesterday was a historic day. We are alive during a very exciting time. The example we set not only for ourselves but for the rest of the world is something to be proud of. I was so blown away and inspired by President Elect Obama's speech that it wasnt until after I realized that soon, the drone-y, mispronounced, seemingly improvised, lie-filled speeches we've been listening to for the last 8 years are almost at an end.

reasons we love david carradine

posted on 17 Aug 2008 by: adam

here is a list of reasons why fazzi, eddie and i love david carradine...

1. his serious looking face.
2. his long hair.
3. outstanding line delivery. (three syllables: grav-i-tas)
4. he doesnt have many facial expressions but the one he does have is killer.
5. makes chuck norris look lame.
6. never makes a move until the last 20 seconds of an episode of kung-fu.
7. he makes kung-fu fashionable.
8. always tan.
9. he killed in kill bill.
10. we all, at one point in our lives, wanted to be david carradine.

HOLY EFF!!!!!!

So now we have a Fazzi!!!

And with our Fazzi we went and played the gig of all gigs -- MSG!!! with MCR. First a big thank you to MCR for the invitation to join them at the Garden. Every musician at some point in their bedroom jamming days imagines a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden. I now have that memory. It was awesome to feel the NY audience again and we had such an incredible time.

Thank You For A Great Week!

Hello Human Beings and various other life forms.

The current new song count is up to 12. Can you frickin believe it??? We're still writing away and starting to figure out all the more advanced details of the forth (and 4th) coming Taking Back Sunday album. Details like who will produce it? Where will we record it? Just who exactly is playing the guitar? Am I wearing pants?

--- right. now that I have your attention (and by no means as a way to bring you down) I would like to talk about something that is very important to me.

Im going old school

posted on 04 Feb 2008 by: matt

Don't get me wrong, I love technology. Computers, ipods, video games, advances in medicine, and some of the newer Haagen Dazs flavors. All great things. On a personal note though, I might have to start taking it back to the old school. In the last year, I have had
- 2 hard drives crash
-3 ipods die (my new ipod's name is 'maximum death machine' hoping that the name will serve as a good omen - this is what is known as 'reverse psychology')
